Coaching Vs Self Study

It totally depends on you. There is no such rule that one only gets selected if he/she has taken coaching

Pros
1. Enough rest time.
2. Will be able to concentrate on school syllabus.
3. May perform well in your 12th as well ( as per your confidence mentioned )

4. Self relying makes you more confident. 

5. Time Saving. 

Cons

1. No mock tests. 

2. No comparison against other students.

3. May miss a few short-cut methods for particular set of questions. 

4. If you are not capable enough to understand a topic it becomes very hard for you to study it. 

5. Learning is limited

6. You won't maintain regularity.

#Coaching
Pros
1. Detailed guidance for entrance exams
2. A lot of mock tests
3. Will be able to find your weak spots

4.Your concepts become more clear in less time

5.You undergo frequent tests and hence are more practiced. 

6. You are more informed about the test pattern and any changes.

Cons

1. May not focus on your 12th
2. Extra mental pressure of following the coaching schedule
3. If the batch size is big then your query may not get answered and you may not get personal attention. 

4. Your money gets stuck because most of the coaching institutes takes major amount of the fee upfront. 

No one will ever be able to fit into your shoes.
You are the master of your life. You are the captain.
